Bjorn Robroek
Biological Sciences, University of Southampton, UK
Bjorn is a plant ecologist interested in the interactions between plant communities and below-ground (microbial) communities, and the role of these interactions on carbon and nutrient cycles. Recently he placed a lot of effort in studying plant-soil interactions in winter. His current research focus is on understanding the robustness of plant-soil-microbe interactions along environmental gradients. Bjorn has primary focus on peatlands, but has worked in mountain and alpine grasslands as well
